Recent years saw Denmark slip to become only a third-level team in Europe. The Danes failed to qualify to Euro 2008 and will have to show something special to overcome Portugal and Sweden. Denmark will have to beat the minnows of the group (starting with Hungary) and use their home advantage when playing the 2 bigger sides.
One thing is for sure - if Denmark is to repeat their performance from their last friendly with Spain (3-0 home defeat) they have no chance what so ever.
Bottom Line: They were drawn in a very difficult group and something special will have to happen to allow the Danes to finish in 1st or 2nd place.
