It is quite sad to see what came out of the former European giants. Nowadays, Hungary is no more than one of Europe's minnows, with qualifying to the World Cup not even being an option. Their last friendly match ended in a 3-3 home draw with Montenegro, and we find it hard to believe they will finish higher than 5th in their group.
Bottom Line: ...Once upon a time, there was a very strong Hungarian team...
