Turkey had a remarkable Euro 2008, going all the way to the Semi Finals only to lose to Germany in a last-gasp goal. Still, the Turks proved to be a "never say die" team, overcoming both the Czech Republic and Croatia in the dying seconds of the match.
Group 5 of the World Cup qualifying campaign will be a different story. Spain are the best team in the group, so Turkey should concentrate of winning the 2nd place. They are the favourites to do so, but Belgium and Bosnia-Herzegovina pose a real threat.

Bottom Line: Turkey should win 2nd place, and no excuses will be accepted.
