Poor old England. The hopes are still high, but the performances are way below par. The disastrous McClaren era ended with a shocking home defeat to Croatia which ruled England off Euro 2008, and he was quickly replaced with Fabio Capello. The high rated Italian made a couple of changes, but England still fail to impress, finishing in a 2-2 home draw against the Czech Republic.
This, obviously, changes nothing as England have not other choice than qualifying. This will also be a good chance to pay Croatia back, as the two will fight to the top spot which means automatic promotion.

Bottom Line:  Another failure will not be accepted. England just HAVE to qualify.
