Despite failing to tget to the quarter finals of the Euro they hosted, Austria played rather well. This surprised most of the Austria spectators, who were certain there home team is going to get battered. But they weren't and now, with this new hope and their new manager, Austria will try to sneak in to the World Cup. Their chances are quite slim due to the tough opponents, but it is time for the Austrians to stop their free falling and rally the troops - it is time for this proud football nation to become, once again, a respectable European force.
Bottom Line: 3rd place would be a great achievement. 2nd would be like winning the world cup.
