West Bromwich Albion were founder members of the Football League in 1888, and spent the majority of those years in the top tier of English football. In all that time the team have won the League title just the once.
The last couple of years have seen Albion shuffle between the Premiership and the Championship, a real yo-yo club. Tony Mowbray gathered together a talented group of players who won the Championship and automatic promotion to the Premiership.
To the joy of the Baggies' supporters, Mowbray has dived into the transfer market, bringing in no less than 9 new faces, including talented goalie Scott Carson. If these players will be able to blend in and continue to play the attractive style of football West Bromwich showed last season - they have every chance of surviving in the top flight.

Bottom Line: Their last relegation was painful, but it seems that the Baggies are doing things the right way, and we won't be surprised if they'll ensure their survival early on.
